As a Quality Inspector you will inspect and approve parts from both internal manufacturing and external suppliers, ensuring they meet strict quality standards. In the Quality Inspector role, you'll play a key part in maintaining product integrity for the medical and precision manufacturing industries. The Quality Inspector position will work at our Sarver, PA location and both daylight shifts and night shifts are available.What Oberg Industries Offers:Competitive pay (above industry average)20% Shift differential for night turn.Medical, dental, and vision insurance (100% premium coverage)Health Savings Account (HSA)Opt-out reimbursement for medical coverage401(k) with up to 4% company matchAnnual Profit-Sharing contributionsPaid time off and holiday payOvertime pay (after 8 hrs./day worked)Annual increasesQuarterly bonusesFlexible start timesAir conditioned, temperature-controlled environmentClean, bright, and modern facilitiesHigh focus on family, work-life balanceOpportunities for career development and growthCollaborative and safety-focused work environmentWhat You Will Do as a Quality Inspector:Perform part inspections using calipers, micrometers, microscopes, indicators, comparators, and precision gages.Operate touch probe/vision coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for verification (no programming required).Compare parts against specified dimensions, tolerances, and finish requirements.Inspect for size, surface finish, overall appearance, and other critical features.Evaluate inspection results, determine part acceptability, and seek approval for deviations.Troubleshoot equipment or system issues using test equipment and prior experience.Package parts securely for shipment.Comply with all company quality system standards, safety, and security procedures.Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.Perform other related duties as assigned.What You Will Bring to our Team:Pass eye exam (with or without correction) required for aerospace final inspection role.Ability to read blueprints.Basic math and measurement skills.Strong written, verbal, or other forms of communication skills.Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to comply with U.S. export regulations.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.Ability to wear personal protection equipment, such as earplugs, safety glasses, and safety shoes.Preferred Education/Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous hands-on experience in medical device, contract manufacturing, apprenticeship programs, or quality roles required.At least 1 year in a quality position or 2 years in manufacturing required.Familiarity with ISO, TS, or related quality management systems strongly preferred.At Oberg Industries, we believe in fostering a collaborative on-site work environment.
