About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Hope Operations, a non-profit entity dedicated to managing the day-to-day operations of emergency housing facilities and community resource hubs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic oversight and administration of multiple shelter locations, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of programs. This role involves providing executive-level leadership in program delivery, operations, workplace management, and financial oversight. The Executive Director will also be tasked with leading a team, maintaining compliance with regulations, and serving as the key liaison between shelter programs and the company's executive leadership. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's Hope Operations should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and 7-10 years' of experience in shelter operations, housing, or social services for vulnerable populations. The role requires a minimum of 3-5 years' in a senior management or leadership position and a proven track record in managing contracts, grants, and annual budgets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as a commitment to the mission of providing safe, affordable housing. The Executive Director will be expected to work closely with internal and external partners, pursue funding resources, and ensure that the organization's activities align with the mission and strategic goals of the Delaware State Housing Authority.
