Job Title: Groundskeeper

Mancan Staffing is hiring for a groundskeeper in Moundsville WV who is responsible for maintaining the outdoor areas of a property, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing. This role includes landscaping, lawn care, and seasonal maintenance to keep the grounds in excellent condition. This position is a temp to hire opportunities with a small family owned company. Pay is $17 an hour with the opportunity to work up to 60 hours a week for overtime. Typical hours are M-F 8am-5pm but able to work later and on weekends. Employee must have a drivers license and a reliable car for transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
Mow, trim, and edge lawns to maintain a neat appearance.
Plant, water, and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees.
Remove weeds, debris, and litter from outdoor spaces.
Perform minor maintenance on outdoor structures such as fences, benches, and walkways.
Clear snow, ice, and fallen leaves from walkways and driveways as needed.
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related field preferred.
Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment.
Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Work Environment:
Primarily outdoors, requiring exposure to various weather conditions.
Physical labor, including lifting, bending, and operating machinery.
May require early morning or weekend work, depending on the season.
