• Be actively licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
\n
• Have experience handling litigation matters and defense-side claims
\n
• Have strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills
\n
• Be able to develop case strategy and manage litigation timelines
\n
• Have experience supporting matters through pre-trial and trial phases
\n
• Be responsive, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Be available to work full-time during standard business hours
\n

About the assignment

\n

Our client, a global banking and insurance provider, is seeking a California-licensed Litigation Defense Attorney to join its legal team on a long-term, fully remote engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys interested in gaining valuable in-house experience while supporting a corporate legal team and managing a diverse portfolio of litigation matters.

In this role, you will manage active litigation and defense-side claims, develop case strategy and timelines, conduct legal research and drafting, and provide pre-trial and trial support. You will also work closely with counsel on court appearances and other litigation-related matters. The ideal candidate is a responsive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of their work while collaborating with an experienced legal team.
