ResponsibilitiesYour Impact:As a Project Attorney, you will be at the forefront of technology-enabled transaction support. You will:Lead project intake, staffing, workflow planning, budgeting, execution, documentation, and communication.Handle a range of tasks, including due diligence, contract review, drafting, and audits for mergers & acquisitions, emerging companies, energy, infrastructure, and more.Use Gen AI and machine learning tools. Collaborate directly with deal team attorneys, clients, and vendors to deliver exceptional outcomes.Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of our processes and methodologies.Be part of a collaborative team fostering a culture of innovation.QualificationsA Juris Doctor and successful bar passage and admission to practice in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction is required.Some practice experience preferred.Significant eDiscovery experience, preferably including using tech tools, e.g. TAR.A successful Project Attorney will possess strong supervisory and team-building skills.Two to six years of experience in project lead or supervisory roles, preferably of both small and large teams.Excellent communication and interactive skills at all levels and a shown ability to work with a wide variety of personality types.Planning and organization skills are important in this role, including the ability to meet deadlines and to lead multiple projects concurrently.Do you have the ability to problem solve and make decisions? A can-do approach in these areas is crucial. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
