Phlebotomist - IOP

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Brunswick, NJ. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least 6 months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Current or prior experience working at Labcorp. Additional Job Standards Completion of an accredited phlebotomy certification or training program. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Pay Range $17.75 - $24.00 per hour. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled fewer than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO.
