Forklift Operator at Greif

Forklift Operator (Converting Department) – Baltimore, OH Shift: 12‑hour shifts. Must be able to work either 7a.m. – 7p.m. or 7p.m. – 7a.m., dependent on seniority and schedule (2‑2‑3) for union facility. Scheduled to work half the year. Pay: $25.96 per hour, which can earn you up to $50,000+ per year. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and vacation. Key Responsibilities Package products into finished goods (ticketing, banding, wrapping) per customer specifications. Transport packaged goods to various on‑site warehouses using a sit‑down forklift (80% of time). Operate converting machinery (20% of time). Receive job‑specific training and perform computer‑based safety training. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and follow all safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience No prior experience is required, though forklift experience is a plus. Knowledge and Skills Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team. Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery. Fundamental understanding or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
