Sr. Accounts Payable SpecialistThe Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the processing of accounts payable transactions. This includes receiving and verifying invoices, maintaining vendor records and supporting the finance team in day-to-day operations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices through EdenRed Receive, review, verify invoices and payment requests for accuracy and completenessDaily processing invoices in invoices queues for both PO and Non-PO InvoicesAccounts Payable StaffPO Invoice - APExceptionsSuspect DuplicatesEnsure accuracy, completeness and compliance with the company policiesInvoice GL Coding Ensuring all invoices are coded correctly according to rules and guidelines for posting to OracleValidate the full nine-segment General Ledger structure accuratelyInvoice scoping Ocean FreightDutyBrokerLand TransportationWarehouseReconciliation and Record Maintenance Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesMonitor duplicate payments and manage exceptions or flagged itemsMaintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and recordsInternal Communication Monthly Email for payment scheduleCollaborate with department members to resolve invoice discrepancies, missing documentation or payment issuesCommunicate regularly with approvers to ensure timely invoice approvalVendor Communication Timely response to vendor inquiries and in professional mannerResolve billing issues and collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely resolutionProvide updates to management and other stakeholders on payment status, outstanding issues and process delaysPhysical Mails – to scan and email the copy to the respective team for further processing.Job CompetenciesTechnical knowledge, Analytical Thinking, Communication Skill, Attention to Detail - Communication Skills, Collaboration & Teamwork, Time Management, Technology proficiency - Integrity and Confidentiality, InitiativeEducation/TrainingBachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business administration is preferred.Training in financial software systems such as Oracle, EdenRed, and other Invoice-to-Pay platformsExperience Required:3-5 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Finance-related rolesProven experience processing high-volume invoices (both PO and Non-PO)Familiarity with invoice approval workflows, payment cycles, and GL codingWorking knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, EdenRed, or similar Invoice-to-Pay platformsPreferred:Experience supporting month-end close and account reconciliationsExposure to vendor management, including issue resolution and communicationPrevious work in a shared services, corporate finance, or multinational environmentExperience using Excel for reconciliations and reporting (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, sumifs) GITI Tire
