Summary The Plant Production Laborer is part of ATMI-Indy’s production team and is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations through safe, efficient, and quality-focused work. This position includes cleaning, preparing, and assembling materials used in precast concrete production. ResponsibilitiesKeep assigned work areas clean and free of debris, including concrete, wood, plastics, foam, tie wire, rebar, and other materialsClean and maintain formwork and casting surfacesRefill production supplies and prepare materials for daily operationsApply form oil and caulking as directedAssemble wood formwork and install rebar reinforcement per instructionsPour and finish wet concrete under supervisionFollow all safety procedures and wear required PPEPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorRequirements: Ability to use and read a measuring tape accuratelyBasic understanding of blueprints and construction drawingsBasic math and problem-solving skillsReliable attendance and work performance recordPositive attitude and ability to work as part of a teamCommitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspaceEnvironment and Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyAbility to bend, kneel, and work on elevated casting surfacesMust be able to climb stairs or ladders and walk long distances in an industrial settingMust be able to work in outdoor conditions that may include heat, cold, humidity, dust, and noiseFirst shift (starting at 4:00 a.m.)40–55+ hours per week, with occasional weekend work as required
