Through our platform and expert support, you will have the opportunity to specialize in perinatal or reproductive mental health.The successful candidate:* The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about supporting women and families during the transformative journey of parenthood.* They possess a strong commitment to cultural sensitivity and inclusivity, enabling them to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.* Adaptability and a growth mindset are essential as we embrace innovative approaches to virtual care.* A dedication to continuous learning, coupled with exceptional communication skills and a strong ethical compass, are fundamental to this role.* Is comfortable with technology or willing to learn new an evolving technologies to facilitate patient-centered virtual care.* Ideal candidates will thrive in our fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for driving positive change### **What is the Role?**As a Virtual Maternal Mental Health & Assessment Specialist, you will:* Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations and psychological ADHD and ASD assessments of adult clients.* Reviewing testing reports, formulating diagnoses, writing reports, and providing recommendations that support women in integrating their neurodivergent identity across the full spectrum of their lives and roles.* Develop individualized treatment plans for clients.* Provide evidence-based, client-centered clinical care to individuals that aligns with the Momwell care model.* Utilize client-reported data in session with patients (measurement-based care) to inform treatment plans.* Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on clients’ progress or changing clinical needs.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including in our electronic health record system, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.* Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing mental health practice.* Part-time positions (Minimum 10 hours per week to 15 hours per week) are available.* Independent contract role### **Requirements:*** **Tech Savvy:** High proficiency in EHR systems and virtual testing platforms.* **Licensure:** Valid Psychologist licnese in California, in good standing.* **Assessment Expertise:** Proven experience in performing formal psychological testing and mental health assessments for ADHD and ASD with adults.* **Experience:** Minimum of five years of experience as a fully licensed practitioner providing both 1:1 therapy and assessments. **Private practice experience is a MUST.*** **Clinical Focus:** Experience working in women’s health and perinatal mental health.* **Certification:** Willingness to obtain the **Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C)** via Postpartum Support International (PSI).### **Ideal Candidate Characteristics:*** **Hybrid Skillset:** You excel at both 1:1 therapy and assessment services* **Self-Starter:** You are flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced virtual environment* **Specialized Population:** You share our passion for the perinatal and maternal population****### **More about Momwell...**Momwell was founded by Erica Djossa, a renowned clinician, published author, and sought-after expert in maternal mental health.
