A Special Touch In Home Care is seeking a Companion Caregiver to join our team! In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, medication reminders, and other tasks that improve the client's living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.


Available Schedules: 8a-1:30p; 8a- 3p; 9a-2:30p; 12p-5:30p;

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping activities
• Medication reminders
• Assist with errands and shopping
• Educating family members on safe care techniques

QUALIFICATIONS

**MUST LIVE WITHIN 10 MILES OF ST. ALBANS, WV**

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
• First aid and CPR certified preferred
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Tolerant of small pets
• Compassionate, respectful, ethical
• Hoyer Lift experience Preferred

Compensation: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
