Operations Specialist

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking an Operations Specialist in Miami, FL. Summary: As an Operations Specialist, you will support the day-to-day delivery of HR services for our Miami team. You will manage HR administration across the employee lifecycle, maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, and partner with local and global HR colleagues on payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee support. Administer day-to-day HR processes and maintain accurate employee information in HR systems, including Workday and TriNet Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including required documentation, system updates, employee communications, and handoffs with payroll, IT, and other partners Maintain, organize, and safeguard personnel records in accordance with company policies and applicable recordkeeping requirements Partner with local and global HR teams to coordinate payroll administration, benefits enrollment and changes, leave of absence processes, and employee relations support; Escalate complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR leader or specialist Serve as the first point of contact for payroll questions and changes; Review payroll inputs, support payroll processing, and audit results to help resolve discrepancies promptly Respond to routine HR inquiries from employees, candidates, managers, and Finance, providing timely guidance and directing complex matters to the appropriate team Prepare and maintain HR reports and workforce data; Review records for accuracy and resolve data discrepancies Support the administration of HR policies, programs, and employee communications, coordinating updates with HR, Legal, and Operations as needed Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements by maintaining documentation, tracking deadlines, and escalating potential issues Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, HR administration, or a generalist role, including hands-on support across the employee lifecycle Experience with payroll administration and employee benefits processes Experience with HR information systems (e.g., Workday, TriNet, or similar platforms) Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to maintain reports, analyze data, and identify discrepancies Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Clear written and verbal communication skills and a service-oriented approach to employee and manager inquiries Sound judgment when handling confidential information and escalating sensitive or complex issues Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with local and global HR teams and cross-functional partners Preferred Experience & Skills: HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus Familiarity with leave administration and employment-related/employment law requirements Direct experience with Workday and TriNet specifically Experience supporting multi-state or multi-country HR operations within a global organization The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
