Securitization Analysis Manager, Capital Markets (Hybrid Work Schedule)

Position Overview The Securitization Analytics team within Securitization Department in Single Family Portfolio and Servicing Division focuses on various aspects of the formation, disclosure, distribution, and competitiveness of single‑class securities. Our Impact The group monitors activities related to security performance - such as prepayment speeds, pool composition, and seller participation. Single Class Issuance establishes the policies and procedures to be followed when changes are proposed to business activities that may materially affect the security performance, cash flows, prepayment behavior, liquidity and/or valuation of FM's Single‑Family mortgage‑related securities. Additionally, the group works with Fannie and FHFA to support the UMBS Alignment. Your Impact The manager will interact with internal business partners including, but not limited to Pricing, Seller Engagement, Cash Window, Research and modeling, Legal, Security Operations, Compliance, and Portfolio Management. Responsibilities Determining origination and securitization market trends, identifying potential issues and opportunities Monitoring monthly prepayment performance of $3 trillion Freddie outstanding securities; identifying outliers (cohort/seller level) that could impact security performance Managing analysis related to the Single Security issuance and performance Evaluating and communicating business performance against plans, past performance and peers Participating in the design of models, products, and capital frameworks offerings in collaboration with others Qualifications 8-10+ years related experience College degree in Math, Computer science or Finance related fields Proficient in mining and analyzing data with SQL/SAS/R/Python Strong analytic skills with some programming languages Ability to balance baseline activities while supporting multiple projects In depth knowledge of TBA market for mortgage backed securities Keys to Success Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to change Ability to manage other analysts to help them to achieve Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience communicating with external customers Compensation and Benefits Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market‑leading benefit programs. This position has an annualized market‑based salary range of $122,000 - $182,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
