Your Role

• Develop Targeted Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft tailored therapy strategies that promote their functional achievements.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers in therapeutic techniques that reinforce progress in their daily lives.
• Track Progress and Adapt Plans: Monitor patient outcomes, documenting development while modifying treatment plans to ensure ongoing progress.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for continuing education and post-graduate certifications

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
