Enterprise MPS/Software Sales Executive

Job Title MPS Sales Director Job Summary MPS Sales Director is a selling manager role that will lead by example through individual sales contribution, developing, coaching, and managing a team of MPS sales executives. The MPS Sales Director will be responsible for the delivery and execution of DEX MPS sales solutions, marketing, financial and structural strategies across either the Western or Eastern U.S. territory. Daily interaction with the sales team, communicating sales goals, expectations, and gathering research to deliver a value‑add solution to the target market. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage sales executives, drive individual sales, promote, and deliver DEX MPS solutions. Ensure delivery of targets through individual recognition, performance review, and people management. Establish individual and team sales objectives by projecting expected monthly revenue, forecasting, and exceeding sales quotas for the region. Meet with customers to discuss their needs or assess the quality of the company’s existing relationships. Communicate effectively with sales executives, clients, and internal resources. Stay current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand, and competitors. Contribute to team effort by meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Support sales executives to generate market leads and close new deals. Document customer interactions and maintain data related to activities, accounts, and partners. Deliver cross‑selling programs across various business units. Guide employees to ensure the effectiveness of cross‑selling activities. Recruit and develop new sales executives. Organize training and onboarding activities for new sales executives. Develop and maintain vendor relationships. Leverage working knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office 365. Be detail oriented. Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by staff. Maintain knowledge on existing products and pursue additional technical and product knowledge through dealership training programs. Maintain communication with customers and answer questions related to the work performed. Make recommendations for additional work when necessary. Management and Supervisory Responsibility Reports to Management Direct Supervisor job titles such as Director, Senior Director, or VP of Sales. Directly responsible for managing other employees: hiring, termination, pay decisions, and performance management. Supervises employees such as Enterprise Sales Consultant, Field Sales Consultant, and Solutions Specialist. Job Qualifications Knowledge Requirements Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, businesses, and the community. Communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing. Perform duties with awareness of the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Goal / Results oriented – ability to set high goals and achieve results. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Apply continuous improvement and problem‑solving skill set. Be change‑ready with a forward‑thinking radar to anticipate opportunities and challenges, and adapt and flex as necessary. Possess outstanding organizational and leadership skills. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Salesforce (a plus). Experience with Microsoft Office 365. Working Conditions Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required. Travel requirements: Domestic up to 20%. Climate‑controlled office environment during normal business hours. Physical Requirements Sitting: up to 7 hours per day. Lifting: up to 0.5 hour per day, up to 50 lbs maximum. Walking: up to 2 hours per day. Pushing / Pulling: up to 0.5 hour per day, up to 50 lbs maximum. Standing: up to 4 hours per day. Bending / Squatting / Stooping: up to 1 hour per day. Reaching: up to 2 hours per day. Twisting: up to 1 hour per day. Data Entry / Typing: up to 4 hours per day. Other notes: Employees should not lift, pull, or push loads exceeding 50 lbs without assistance. Care should be taken in awkward positions.
