Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2080 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Associate’s degree - Respiratory Therapy Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Unit Details: Performs routine and critical respiratory care procedures. Responsible for care across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Evaluates patients for routine respiratory care therapy on inpatient units and in the Emergency Room. Obtains and analyzes arterial, venous, and capillary blood gases. Completes assessments on ventilator patients and other patients on respiratory care services. Prepares, tests, processes, cleans, and maintains respiratory therapy equipment and related supplies. Documents respiratory flow sheets, care plans, and charges in the EMR.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as needed. Holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
