Program Analyst

Duties

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.

1. Sets strategy and direction relating to the implementation and execution of program management capability and support. Plans, coordinates, and integrates activities of TE/GE programs and projects.
2. Performs critical program and project support and review and analysis across a broad spectrum of issues, such as digital services, technology, modernization, internal and external audits, media requests, requests under the Freedom of Information Act, workforce recruitment, hiring, training, and retention.
3. Applies technical knowledge of planning, programming, budgeting, operating division methodologies, and execution to the integration and execution of TE/GE directed actions and stationing initiatives that impact programs and services.
4. Develops goals and objectives, establishes priorities and milestones. Supports project teams in applying program and project management standards and processes in the development and implementation of initiatives supporting TE/GE.
5. Reviews program execution, assesses and evaluates effectiveness of operations and support relationships, and recommends program changes.
