Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving roofing materials such as shingles, roof tiles, roofing, and other accessories. You will also pull orders for walk-in customers, load them into trucks, operate a forklift, and load products onto delivery trucks.

Responsibilities

• Receive roofing materials including shingles, roof tiles, and accessories.
• Pull orders for walk-in customers and load them into trucks.
• Operate a forklift to move materials.
• Load products onto delivery trucks.

• Experience with forklift operation.
• Material handling skills.
• Experience with sit down forklifts.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds consistently for 10+ hour shifts.
• Positive attitude and teamwork abilities.

• Minimum of 6+ months of sit down forklift experience.
• 6+ months of experience working outdoors or in a hot/humid/dirty environment.
• Preferred: 1+ year of forklift experience working with building materials.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in construction or related environments.

Work Environment

You will work outdoors in an environment that can be hot in the summer and chilly in the winter, operating all through November. Join a team of 23 members, with core working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm, and be prepared for occasional early starts and Saturdays. The dress code requires steel-toe footwear, with the option to wear shorts or pants, and a t-shirt or cut-off.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Mankato, MN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Mankato,MN.
