FP&A Analyst

Pay or shift range: $64,000 USD to $85,000 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons. Description Summary: The purpose of the FP&A Analyst position is to provide analytical, reporting, and budgetary support to the Manager of FP&A. This role supports core FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and partners with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial insights. The FP&A Analyst assists in financial modeling, reporting, and data analysis to support informed business decision-making. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support planning and forecasting models, including long-term projections, annual budget, and in-year forecasts Assist in building financial models for new business initiatives, incentive programs, and ad hoc analyses, providing insight into financial impact Prepare and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in partnership with the accounting team and business stakeholders during the close process Support regional sales and marketing leadership reviewing and managing their P&Ls. Track departmental budget versus actual spend and assist with variance analysis and reporting Gather, analyze, and maintain data related to revenue, COGS, OPEX, and CAPE. Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics for internal stakeholders Support process improvements related to reporting, forecasting, and data accuracy Assist with supplemental reporting and data requests, including materials for private equity reporting, board presentations, and ad hoc analysis Maintain a clean and organized personal work environment Perform other duties as assigned to support ZO’s objectives and evolving business needs Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Solid quantitative and analytical skills Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics. 1 to 3 years of experience in a financial analyst, FP&A, or related role; experience in pharmaceutical, CPG, or health and cosmetics industries preferred Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience with NetSuite and Oracle EPM Cloud or PBC forecasting tools preferred Work Environment: The work environment is indoors in a professional office environment. The floor surfaces are carpeted in office areas and conference rooms with vinyl floor covering typical in hallways, break rooms and computer rooms. Work Hours: The work schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Initial start time may vary, with work hours typically from 8am-5pm. Work hours and shifts are subject to change depending on operating business conditions and needs. The position resides in Orange County but is hybrid with 2 days being remote work. Physical and Mental Demands: Sedentary, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, or negligible amounts of force frequently, to move objects. This job also requires constant sitting. Constant use of the upper extremities is required to reach, handle, and position tools and equipment.
