Weekend Caregiver

At Senior Helpers we are committed to providing exceptional care to seniors, enhancing their quality of life through companionship, support, and personalized assistance. We seek compassionate individuals eager to grow their skills in the senior care industry.

Key Responsibilities

As a Companion Caregiver, you will:

Provide companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote emotional well-being.
Transportation: Provide clean, safe and reliable transportation to and from appointments and errands.
Light housekeeping: Perform tasks such as laundry, changing linens, and maintaining a clean living environment.
Meal preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
Medication reminders: Ensure clients take prescribed medications on time.
Family support: Educate family members on safe care techniques and assist in implementing care plans.

Qualifications

Compassionate, reliable, honest, and adaptable. Prior experience in senior care or with dementia patients is a plus. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and assist with mobility. Must be reachable via phone or email for scheduling and emergencies. Constant communication is needed.
