The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth, and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of strategic deterrence.We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with experience in coordinating planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. In this role you will plan and formulate the Engineering program, review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. You will also evaluate and approve design changes, specification and drawing releases, and coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.Roles & ResponsibilitiesWork closely with program leaders and lead multiple IPTs to the best, unified solution that meets overall system performance requirements, cost, and schedule needs.Establish change orders and prepare change authorization and documentation. Review change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support manufacturing, and others. Ensure customer requirements are implemented, approvals are captured, and compliant with configuration management policies.Drive execution of assigned scope in support of the Systems Engineering Directorate with influence and awareness of the greater program development efforts.Basic QualificationsUnderstanding Systems Engineering and the development and verification of RequirementsUnderstanding Large Scale Development programsDemonstrated, or equivalent knowledge of Systems Engineering or Project ManagementDemonstrated experience wiht Earned Value ManagementAbility to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret ClearanceBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Desired SkillsDemonstrated experience in project management and execution including: schedule development, resource management, budget management, scope management, progress tracking and reporting, and analysis of metricsPrior CAM/EVMS experienceProficiency with MS ProjectExperience with OpenPlanAbility to build reports utilizing TableauSelf-starter with a positive attitude and strong communication skillsExperience developing and/or reviewing Basis Of Estimate (BOEs) in support of contract modifications or impact assessmentsActive TS/SCI clearanceProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practicePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
