Program Manager, Recruitment & Alumni Engagement

University of Nebraska Omaha is hiring a Program Manager, Recruitment & Alumni Engagement. This role leads strategic and operational efforts in recruitment and alumni engagement for the Scott Scholars Programs across the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, managing the full engagement lifecycle, from statewide recruitment to alumni relations, event planning, marketing, and data reporting. Highlights Lead statewide recruitment strategy and maintain relationships with high school counselors, principals, teachers, and college-access partners. Manage end-to-end applicant pipeline operations including communications, tracking, and documentation using CRM systems. Coordinate selection process logistics, yield strategies, and onboarding experiences for admitted scholars and families. Oversee alumni engagement through communications, mentoring programs, and event coordination across two campuses. Plan and execute recruitment, admitted student, alumni, and donor-focused high-visibility events with vendor coordination and hospitality management. Produce branded marketing materials and steward recruitment and engagement data, generating reports and dashboards for leadership and foundation stakeholders. Required skills include project management, graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar), stakeholder relations, and data management. Qualifications require a bachelor's degree in relevant fields and at least three years of experience in higher education or comparable organizations, with preferred candidates having a master's degree and five or more years' experience. Salary range is $75,000 to $85,000 annually, with a full-time (100%) appointment and a work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, including some evenings and weekends.
