The nurse will plan, direct and carry out shift routines in the assigned nursing unit and observe, direct and evaluate the activities of personnel as the person in charge according to the Nurse Practice Act. Will assume “Building Charge” responsibilities as directed by the DON or Designee. Provides Leadership and Direction on Assigned Unit Maintains competence in all required skills within assigned area(s) Charting, Documentation and Assessment Functions Personnel Functions Serve on, participate in and attend various committees and meetings of the facility to enhance interdisciplinary process Other duties as assigned About Us The Valley Manor Care Center is a welcoming community that includes long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, and short-term respite care.
