IT Project Manager

IT Project ManagerImmediate need for a talented IT Project Manager. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Nashville, TN (Onsite).Pay Range: $46 - $47/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts.Responsible for lesser number of work efforts simultaneously and work efforts consisting of smaller size, low complexity and minimum system and customer impacts.Adheres to project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budgeted hours, adheres to high quality standards, and meets ISSM expectations.Monitors project plans, assignments and work efforts on a daily basis.Ensures resource needs are assigned appropriately and escalates functional, quality, timeline issues.Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans to meet the needs of work effort.Responsible for leading the project from inception to final business acceptance and implementation.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Oversee full SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle75% Waterfall/ 25% AgileProjects Simultaneously (2-3)Develop schedule in MS ProjectPMO Framework AlignmentRequired Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in any major.Required Work Experience: 3 years IT experience in a leadership capacity on one or more project teams. Completion of the Client Training Program for Project Management may substitute for one year of work experience.PMP is preferredOur client is a leading Insurance organization and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
