The position performs complex duties requiring problem resolution, judgment and discretion, following established procedures and guidelines.Pay Range $24.00 per hour - $32.00 per hour**Responsibilities/Essential Functions:*** Reviews inboxes daily and ensures appropriate authorizations are obtained and documented.* Prioritizes authorization orders ensuring STAT/Urgent authorizations are processed.* Contact patients to inform them of authorization approval/denial.* Maintains detailed notes in patients’ chart in OncoEMR per note template policy.* Ensure all pertinent records and documents are scanned into appropriate computer systems and in proper folders.* Maintain a high level of confidentiality for patients in accordance to HIPAA standards.* Promotes and contributes positively to inter-departmental issue resolution.* Effectively completes other duties and projects as assigned.Medical Oncology Associates of San Diego (MOASD) offers a complete range of oncology services in an atmosphere of professionalism, encouragement and understanding.
