Product Development Engineer

Executive Recruiter at GForce Life Sciences 9 month contract Must be able to work on a W2 On-site in Irvine, CA Responsibilities Design, validate, and support the introduction of new products to market Define new product functional requirements Design, test, and integrate components into final product designs Evaluate design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety Design, develop, execute, and evaluate fitness-for-use testing Develop product specifications and process validation plans Create and review material part specifications and bills of materials Collaborate with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers, and product specialists to optimize designs for manufacturability Utilize CAD or CAE systems to model designs and generate detailed engineering drawings Work independently as an individual contributor, applying professional judgment with minimal supervision Apply technical principles and concepts to resolve issues as they arise Demonstrate attention to detail and sound evaluative judgment based on factual analysis Qualifications Professional mastery of a specialized technical field College degree or equivalent required Minimum of 4 or more years of applicable professional experience Demonstrated professional knowledge gained through substantial work experience to supplement formal education Senior Level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Manufacturing, Research, and Engineering Industries Medical Equipment Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr GForce Life Sciences
