Join an innovative team developing cutting-edge oncology diagnostic assays that is looking to identify and hire a Product Development Associate I on a potential temp to hire basis. In this hands-on laboratory role, you'll collaborate with scientists to design, optimize, validate, and document molecular testing methods that help bring new diagnostic products to market.

 

The Product Development Associate I will:

• Assist with the development, optimization, and evaluation of molecular assays and product development methods.
• Plan and execute laboratory experiments under the guidance of Senior Associates or Scientists.
• Perform laboratory bench work and accurately document experimental results, research records, and laboratory notebooks.
• Analyze and summarize experimental data using appropriate statistical methods and communicate findings to the team.
• Assist with preparation of technical reports, protocols, quantitative analyses, and product development documentation.
• Support the development of manufacturing specifications, QC test procedures, raw material specifications, and validation protocols.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and workspaces, complete required documentation in MasterControl, and follow all company quality, safety, and regulatory procedures.

 

Requirements:

• 0-2 years related work experience with Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of 1 years related work experience with Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of quality systems and quality systems regulations a plus.
• Must have background in reagent preparations.
• Must have background in statistical analyses.
• Experience working with PCR and DNA/RNA extractions strongly preferred.
• Hands-on laboratory skills and attention to detail.
• Strong documentation and data analysis abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced R&D environment.
• Experience with regulated environments and electronic quality systems (such as MasterControl) is a plus.
