As a Maintenance Supervisor , you’re not just overseeing daily operations of physical building and systems maintenance and repairs – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Responsibilities Here’s what you'll do during a typical day: Ensure facility safety and compliance: support the maintenance of the hotel’s buildings, mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Supervise maintenance operations: assign and oversee daily maintenance tasks, ensuring thorough documentation of completed work in the property management system. Oversee contractor work: supervise external contractors and inspect completed work for quality and compliance. Respond to service requests: ensure maintenance requests, guest concerns, and emergency situations are addressed promptly and efficiently. Supervise and develop the team: train, schedule, and supervise maintenance team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and performance.
