Manager - Swimming & Diving

Manager - Swimming & Diving Men’s Swimming and Diving is seeking a manager who is willing to work during the 2018-2019 Swimming and Diving Season. Typical Manager duties include but are not limited to the following. Responsibilities Keep up with social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). Film and process footage of swim/dive meets. Lift at least 50 pounds; standing for periods of time is sometimes required while filming or working at meets. Pick‑up/drop‑off equipment and laundry from the equipment room as needed. Assist with recruiting weekends (set up, clean‑up, ensure supplies are in order). Assist coaches and staff during practice times, meets, etc. Travel to away meets and attend all home meets. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Office; knowledge of swimming and diving preferred but not required. Qualifications Knowledge in Word, Excel, and Office. Knowledge of swimming and diving. Physical Demands The physical demands and environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, and peripheral vision.
