Role & ResponsibilitiesProgram & Project LeadershipLead end-to-end management of multiple DOC technology initiatives from planning through deployment and operational transitionDefine project scope, objectives, deliverables, resource requirements, schedules, and success metricsDevelop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules using approved project management methodologies and toolsEnsure projects remain aligned with business goals, strategic priorities, timelines, budgets, and quality expectationsManage complex dependencies across multiple parallel initiatives and technology implementationsData & Technology Modernization OversightSupport enterprise data management, stewardship, governance, integration platform, reporting, and analytics initiativesOversee successful implementation and integration of the PRISM Offender Management System and related enterprise applicationsEnsure synchronization, interoperability, and operational readiness across all dependent systemsCollaborate with technical teams supporting cloud, infrastructure, application development, and cybersecurity initiativesRisk & Governance ManagementIdentify, assess, document, and mitigate project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependenciesMaintain comprehensive RAID logs and drive proactive resolution activitiesEscalate critical risks and issues while providing leadership with actionable mitigation strategiesEnsure compliance with established project governance frameworks and reporting requirementsStakeholder & Vendor ManagementBuild strong relationships with business leaders, program sponsors, technical teams, vendors, and external partnersManage stakeholder expectations and facilitate alignment across competing prioritiesCoordinate vendor activities and ensure deliverables comply with contractual obligationsSupport contract management discussions, change requests, issue resolution, and performance accountabilityReporting & CommunicationPrepare executive-level status reports, presentations, dashboards, and briefingsCommunicate project progress, budget status, milestones, risks, and dependencies to leadershipFacilitate project governance meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder review sessionsMaintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycleTeam LeadershipLead cross-functional project teams consisting of internal staff, vendor resources, business stakeholders, technical experts, and subject matter specialistsFoster collaboration, accountability, transparency, and successful project executionMentor project participants and promote best practices across the programSkills & Experience You Should Possess10+ years of Program Management, Senior Project Management, or IT Program Leadership experience7+ years managing large, complex enterprise IT projectsProven experience delivering technology programs on schedule, within scope, and within budgetExperience managing procurement processes, RFP activities, vendor selection efforts, and COTS solution implementationsStrong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery approachesExperience managing multiple concurrent projects within large programs or portfoliosExperience leading cross-functional teams in highly matrixed organizationsStrong vendor management, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skillsDemonstrated success managing project risks, dependencies, RAID logs, budgets, and governance processesStrong knowledge of enterprise technology environments, infrastructure, systems integration, and technology lifecycle managementExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skillsExperience managing cloud, application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or digital transformation initiativesBonus Points If You HaveExperience within corrections, public safety, criminal justice, or government environmentsExperience
