Physical Therapist – OutpatientLocation: Boerne, TX Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per yearAbout the RoleProfessional Therapy Service is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist for our outpatient clinic in Boerne, Texas. You'll evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, sports, and post-operative conditions, build evidence-based plans of care, and guide each patient from evaluation through discharge. You'll also mentor our PTAs, techs, and students, and act as clinical lead when the Clinic Director is out.About UsProfessional Therapy Service is part of Professional Therapy Partners, a physical therapy practice partnership based in Southlake, Texas. Each clinic keeps its own identity and its own clinical autonomy.ResponsibilitiesPerform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of careProvide treatment including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education for orthopedic, sports medicine, and post-operative patientsReassess patient progress and adjust plans of care throughout the episode of careDocument evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries accurately and on time in the EMR (WebPT)Supervise and direct Physical Therapist Assistants, rehab technicians, and students in line with the Texas Physical Therapy Practice ActCommunicate with referring physicians and providers about patient status and outcomesManage incoming referrals and coordinate equipment and supply needsFollow clinic policies, payer documentation requirements, and compliance proceduresTake part in clinic meetings, continuing education, and student clinical mentoringServe as clinical lead in the Clinic Director's absenceMinimum RequirementsBachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited programActive Texas Physical Therapist license, or eligibility to get one before your start date (an active license is required to start)Ability to keep your license in good standing, including Texas continuing competence requirements (30 CCUs every two-year renewal cycle, including the Texas Jurisprudence Assessment)Active National Provider Identifier (NPI), or ability to get one before your start dateProficiency with an EMR and with therapy documentation standardsAbility to stand and walk often, bend, reach, and lift or assist patients and equipment up to 50 lbsAbility to travel occasionally to other clinic locationsLegal authorization to work in the United StatesPreferred QualificationsPrior outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experienceManual therapy and strong clinical reasoning skillsExperience with WebPTBoard certification (OCS or SCS) is a plus.
