Tax Accountant Cerritos, CA. Onsite Direct-hire. 110-125k base + Tax Associate/Accountant – Job Description We are seeking a Tax Accountant with at least five years' recent tax experience in public accounting. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compensation commensurate with experience and a benefit package available for full-time employees. Responsibilities:
- Review client provided general ledger and financial statements and prepare journal entries as needed to compile mid-year and year-end financial statements for book and tax purposes.
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and exempt organizations tax returns including some multi-state issues.
- Consult with clients and provide tax planning.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients.
Requirements Qualifications:
- CPA Designation
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Master's degree in taxation a plus but not required
- Minimum of 3 years recent public accounting experience
