Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in Washington State (WA OT License)
• ESA certification (Educational Staff Associate)
• Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
• Experience serving school-aged children in an educational setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented and committed to evidence-based practice

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person occupational therapy services for a designated caseload of 32 elementary students
• Conduct assessments, develop IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals, and implement therapy interventions individually or in small groups
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate students’ academic and functional success
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and timely reports in compliance with district and state regulations
• Support students in accessing curriculum, developing fine and gross motor skills, and increasing independence within the school environment
• Participate in multidisciplinary IEP meetings and offer expertise for program planning

This contract role runs from ASAP through June 11, 2027, for a full 7.5-hour workday schedule. You’ll gain experience in a vibrant elementary school environment and contribute to a meaningful mission for students and staff alike.
