Take your expertise in occupational therapy to the next level by making a lasting difference in the lives of elementary-aged students near Seattle, WA. This full-time, in-person contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to serve one elementary school for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing support to a manageable caseload of 32 students. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 11, 2027, ensuring stability and the satisfaction of seeing students’ progress throughout the school year.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
- Current Washington OT license
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
- Experience working in a school-based setting, specifically with elementary-aged students, preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to delivering services in-person
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions in accordance with IEP goals and federal/state regulations
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate student records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster student independence in academic and life skills within the school environment
- Integrate therapeutic activities that support fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, and functional performance in the classroom
