Geotechnical Sales Engineer

Company Description Foundation Personnel, a specialist recruitment partner to the geotechnical and foundations sector, is working with a specialty design‑build geotechnical contractor and ground improvement company delivering solutions for sites with challenging soil conditions across the United States. Job Duties and Responsibilities Reviewing and interpreting civil, structural and geotechnical construction documents. Preparing estimates and proposals for ground support solutions based on your interpretation of these documents. Pre‑bid geotechnical and structural design calculations in support of sales efforts using our in‑house or commercial computer‑aided design software packages. Communicating with Clients, Engineers and Architects in order to move the sales process forward to a successful contract. Negotiating contract terms and closing of sales where you are designated as the sales lead. Making technical presentations to prospects and supporting the educational training of Menard clientele. Business development and search for new opportunities and clients. Ensures that all Company safety rules and procedures (including site‑specific regulations) are being strictly adhered to by all Project Team members. Assisting Design Engineers with preparation of final designs and shop drawings, cutoff charts, log review, etc. During initial months, on‑site (field) duties will be assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Understanding of engineering science and technology, design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Excellent documentation and organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field, plus 2‑3 years of experience in construction and/or geotechnical engineering. #J-18808-Ljbffr
