TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OB/GYN RN in Springfield, Missouri, 65804!

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 18:30-07:00 Experience: 2 years License: Current RN License in the state of Missouri Certifications: BLS from AHA only Must-Have Skills/Experience: Mother/baby experience and/or Med Surg experience Description: Position involves providing patient care utilizing the nursing process. Maintains professional accountability for the provided patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care given by other direct caregivers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Upholds patient rights and maintains confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities consistent with mission and values. Required education includes a current RN license. Flor of the unit serves a mix of patients including mother/baby, Med Surg, GYN surgical, bariatric procedures, and colorectal surgeries. The unit consists of 24 adult beds and 10 newborn beds. Patient ratios are approximately 6:1. Preferred certifications include NRP and STABLE. Personality fit should reflect a team player with a positive attitude and motivated self-starter. Dress code includes black scrubs and Client branded tops. Night shift orientation occurs during the day shift, with availability required for the entire week. Experience in both mother/baby and Med Surg is preferred due to the patient population mix.
