Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the NICU provides specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. They are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans tailored to neonatal patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess neonatal patients' health status through comprehensive data collection.
• Analyze assessment data to identify diagnoses or issues requiring intervention.
• Develop individualized care plans with clear outcomes and strategies.
• Execute prescribed interventions and monitor patient responses.
• Promote a safe and healthy environment while ensuring high-quality nursing care.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare team members to facilitate optimal neonatal care.

Qualifications:

• Hold Montana Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Maintain valid American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider certification.
• Achieve STABLE certification.
• Possess at least one year of NICU, Labor & Delivery, ED, or Intensive Care nursing experience.
