Work Environment This role operates in a remote work environment, allowing you to manage your schedule while providing therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or any location you prefer. Our outpatient office setting means that you will be conducting therapy sessions via an online platform, ensuring ease of access for clients from various locations. You will have the support of a collaborative team of mental health professionals as well as access to cutting-edge technology to facilitate your work. Key Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy sessions remotely, utilizing our secure online platform to offer therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs. Collaborate with clients to identify their specific mental health goals, creating personalized treatment plans that outline targeted strategies for improvement. Regularly monitor client progress through detailed assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes. Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines, ensuring all documentation is current and accurate. Engage with other mental health professionals as needed to provide integrated care, facilitating referrals and consultations that would benefit the client. Uphold the highest standards of ethical practice and legal compliance in all aspects of therapy delivery and client interaction. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on individuals and families dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. You will be well-equipped to support clients from various backgrounds and across different age groups, adapting your therapeutic techniques to meet their unique needs. Qualifications A Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a closely related field is required. Current and active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland. Proven experience in providing individual or family therapy, showcasing an ability to apply various therapeutic approaches effectively. Proficient in using digital tools and technology to conduct remote therapy sessions, ensuring seamless interaction with clients. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to foster relationships and build rapport with clients. Capability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team of professionals. Preferred Experience Experience working in telehealth or remote therapy settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic methods. Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
