Food Operations Manager 2 – New Haven, CT Location: Yale New Haven Hospital, a 1,541‑bed teaching facility in New Haven, CT. Role Overview Where Hospitality Meets Healthcare – Elevate Every Guest Experience. Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 to join our team at Yale New Haven Hospital. The role will serve as the senior leader overseeing all operations at the East Pavilion Café and Micro‑Market on the York Street campus. This leader will ensure a best‑in‑class guest experience through strong operational execution, employee engagement, and a focus on quality and service excellence. What You’ll Do Oversee daily operations of the East Pavilion Café and Micro‑Market. Lead, mentor, and support a team of 40 union employees. Drive guest satisfaction and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Ensure compliance with Sodexo, hospital, and regulatory standards. Partner with culinary and retail teams to enhance menu variety and service efficiency. Maintain strong financial performance and control operating costs.
