Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery

The position requires a registered nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery. The nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive care for women during antepartum, labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages. This includes triage procedures and caring for well newborns in the Mom/Baby Couplet area. The nurse must be skilled in circulating cesarean sections in the operating room. A minimum of two years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby units is required. The nurse should be capable of functioning autonomously and maintaining a kind demeanor toward patients. The department consists of a total of 16 beds, including both labor and postpartum beds. Weekly guaranteed hours will be 36, with weekend hours required every third weekend. The dress code requires blue operating room scrubs. The facility values compassionate care and excellence in service delivery.
