California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) and Actuarial Office (ACTO) Technical Services Team seeks an Actuarial Analyst to assist with annual data extract of millions of data elements, perform data analysis and reconciliations as part of the actuarial valuation process, query and analyze data to answer questions, and develop tools to streamline the processes of the Actuarial Office. Responsibilities Assist with data extraction of large data sets Conduct data analysis and reconciliations Query and analyze data to answer questions Develop tools to streamline processes Qualifications Experience with programming and software such as SQL, VBA, Java, Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel), and PowerBI. Experience with data analysis, research, and compiling research findings.
