Salary $9,507.00 - $12,740.00 Work Location Sacramento County Telework Hybrid Job Type Permanent, Full Time Department Business Technology Management Bureau, Information Technology Division, Administration and Licensing Services Branch, California Department of Insurance Responsibilities Under the administrative direction of the Information Technology Manager II, the ITS III will serve as a senior‑level data architect. Key responsibilities include: Designing, implementing, and governing enterprise‑wide data modeling, analytics, and business intelligence solutions Transforming regulatory, actuarial, and operational data into dashboards, predictive models, and strategic recommendations to support executive decision‑making Leading high‑priority data analytics initiatives with broad authority and independence to design and build data models and analytic tools Overseeing future‑state data solutions aligned with business objectives across software engineering, systems engineering, and project management domains Qualifications Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for an Information Technology Specialist III, including: Experience developing and optimizing Snowflake data warehouse structures Proficiency using Sigma Computing to build interactive dashboards, analytical models, and visualizations based on large regulatory or actuarial datasets Knowledge of actuarial data structures, insurance rate‑related datasets, and analytical workflows in regulatory or Proposition 103 environments Strong analytical, data‑modeling, and business‑analysis skills Special Requirements Exam list eligibility – refer to exam link below.
