Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for a Days position requiring active ARRT certification and a minimum of 24 months of Cath Lab experience.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit in a hospital setting
• Days shift, 4x10s, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday with a random day off during the week
• On-call requirement of 1 night per week and every 3rd weekend (7:30p Friday through 7a Monday)
• Uses Epic EMR
• Required to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification required
• RCIS certificate preferred
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 24 months of current Cath Lab/Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Travel experience within the previous 18 months required
• Scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring experience required
• Structural heart experience highly preferred
• Interventional Radiology and EP experience preferred
• Peripheral vascular experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Compact or Iowa RN license required

Additional Information

• Must be willing to take call and float across nearby campuses
• Holiday rotation required, including 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for consideration
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are not eligible to work travel assignments in another market within 12 months
