The Food Runner at The Nautical plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless dining experience by efficiently delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and courteous manner. This position requires close coordination with kitchen staff and servers to maintain the flow of service during busy periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The Food Runner is responsible for upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation while handling food items and room service orders. Physical stamina and mobility are essential, as the role involves lifting and carrying heavy trays, reaching overhead, and performing repetitive motions throughout the shift. Ultimately, the Food Runner contributes significantly to guest satisfaction by supporting the front-of-house team and ensuring that every order is delivered accurately and promptly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business schedule.
• Physical capability to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment safely.
• Full range of mobility including the ability to reach overhead and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work in extreme heat, indoors and outdoors.
• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must have current AZ Food Handlers Certificate.
