A leading elite boutique investment bank is seeking an exceptional technology M&A professional to join our high-performing team. This is an opportunity to work on marquee transactions across software, data & analytics, and tech-enabled services alongside industry-leading dealmakers in a culture that rewards excellence and merit.
Position Overview Level: Associate 1/2 Focus: Technology M&A Location: New York City Start Date: Flexible for qualified candidates
Responsibilities
- Support execution of complex technology M&A transactions from origination through close
- Manage deal workflow including financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction documentation
- Conduct strategic and financial analysis to support client advisory services
- Prepare marketing materials, management presentations, and Board-level presentations
- Coordinate with legal, accounting, and other transaction advisors
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of M&A investment banking experience with a focus on technology sectors, including software, data & analytics, and/or tech-enabled services
- Experience supporting 2+ closed technology M&A transactions
- Strong technical proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring
- Exceptional analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to start immediately or shortly after bonus season
