Job Summary Under minimal direction, the Contract Manager will collaborate with end‑users and Group Purchasing Organizations to manage the contract lifecycle and sourcing of goods and services. This hybrid role requires one office day per week and additional in‑office presence as needed. Experience: At least 2 years in contract administration, purchasing, or sourcing; intermediate use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong knowledge of legal contract terms and conditions. Licenses and Certifications: Certified TX Contracts Manager (CTCM) and Certified TEXAS Contract Developer (CTCD) within 1‑2–2 years of hire. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a related field. Job Duties Collaborate with the Category Manager to execute the sourcing strategy. Provide customer service to internal stakeholders regarding contract compliance. Communicate compliance expectations to customers and suppliers. Manage GPO and supplier price files. Process and track Exclusive Acquisition Justifications (EAJ). Assess contract risk and provide monitoring reports. Perform required LBB reporting tasks by specified deadlines. Support supplier relationship management to meet UTSW business needs; monitor KPIs and lead supplier business reviews. Review contracts for terms, changes, and enhancements; liaise with legal on contract language. Monitor contractor compliance with insurance and HUB requirements. Maintain effective record keeping for all contract documents. Export, filter, categorize, and interpret data volumes to identify sourcing opportunities and recommend solutions. Compile information and respond to internal and external audit requests. Set up, maintain, and complete tasks in the Sourcing Director platform. Perform other duties as assigned.
