Finance Coordinator

Finance Coordinator As a Finance Coordinator at Saputo, you will apply accounting principles to process commodity and ingredient usage, produce reconciliations, support manufacturing operations, and maintain accurate financial reporting across the organization. Responsibilities Process commodity and ingredient usage, variances, and perform reconciliations and reports in support of manufacturing operations. Interact with cross‑functional departments to achieve company strategies and maintain inventory reconciliation and quality standards. Ensure accurate milk usage and ingredient inventory control, and coordinate mandatory plant activities. Support accounts payable activities, including invoice reconciliation, G/L coding, cost‑center allocation, and vendor file maintenance. Assist with daily and monthly financial transactions for Accounts Payable, including vendor invoices, employee payments, and accruals. Participate in month‑quarter‑year end close activities and provide data for internal and external audits. Generate and submit milk market, cream settlement, and yield reporting; analyze ingredient/shrink usage and variances. Prepare milk contract support and investigate discrepancy resolution. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred. Minimum of 3 years hands‑on plant experience in the dairy plant or food industry, specifically in accounting or dairy accounting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer‑based accounting ERP applications; SAP experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong adaptability, leadership, and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment. Benefits Competitive base salary ($60,000 in the USA) with incentive potential.
