Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Associate Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineer to join the Flight Systems Engineering Capability in Berkeley, MO. This role will support new product design, development, integration and flight test supporting the areas of flight control and subsystem control for the T-7A Red Hawk.Join us, and you can build something better for yourself, for our customers and for the world.Position Responsibilities:Gather, define and document Guidance, Navigation and Control mission requirements and ensure requirements traceability and quality from the system level to component levelUse multidisciplinary model data (aero, mass properties, propulsion, etc.) to develop and refine a complex, nonlinear, 6 degrees of freedom simulation modelSupport design of flight control laws and tools to achieve design and performance targetsUse advanced analysis to assess and refine the control law designPerform model validation against test data to inform and improve the accuracy of the simulation environmentDevelop supplementary controllers, limiters, mode logic, and signal shaping to properly bound the performance within all areas of the flight envelopeWork with flight simulation and Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) software engineers to incorporate control laws into the operational flight programSupport flight simulations, hardware in the loop testing, and flight testingParticipate in design reviews, analyses, simulations and component/system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectationsAuthor and maintain engineering documentation for consistency and delivery.Support development of solutions and disposition of issues to assure customer satisfactionParticipate in new business development efforts.
