Overview Position Summary... What you'll do... Responsibilities Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; and addressing improvement opportunities, adapting to change, difficulties, and feedback. Receives stocks and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers throughout the facility by managing inventory flow and following company policy and procedures for utilizing equipment, merchandising, working inventory, exceptions, correcting shelf capacities, and completing required paperwork and documentation. Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs, providing guidance and support regarding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting the company7s products and services. Maintains safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies by zoning, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged goods, setting up displays, maintaining modular integrity, processing defective merchandise, and monitoring shrink and safety risks. Ensures club pick up orders are filled by assisting with picking club pick up orders, staging, and auditing for accuracy; ensuring orders are staged within acceptable timeframe. Inventory management: handles moves and displays goods safely, tracks in-stock levels, controls shrinkage, reports poor practices, and uses inventory tools and equipment correctly. Forklift operations: operates and maintains forklifts safely and reports unsafe conditions or improper working order to management. Technology: identifies customers needing help, assists with technology services, supports shrink prevention, maintains equipment, and ensures products are organized and stocked correctly. Tuition, books, and fees are paid by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply. Hourly wage range: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour. Actual rate may meet or exceed the minimum wage for the location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply in specific circumstances. Minimum Qualifications Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position.
