The New York State Unified Court System is now accepting registrations for the upcoming Court Officer Trainee Exam now through May 14, 2026. The exam will be held throughout New York State from Wednesday, August 26, 2026, to Wednesday, October 7, 2026. As a Court Officer‑Trainee, you will participate in a structured training program that prepares you to maintain security and order in court facilities. Duties include screening visitors, enforcing court rules, maintaining order in courtrooms, and responding to emergencies. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of judges, staff, and the public while upholding the integrity of the judicial process.
